You can not recycle PVC Number 3 labeled plastic items through your curbside recycling program. Otherwise known as Vinyl, this resin is commonly used in piping, cables, and furniture. Sadly PVC is a challenging resin to recycle, and only very specialized recycling programs can process it correctly.
